Minions
is an old mining village on the south eastern edge
of Bodmin Moor. It is the highest village in
Cornwall, some 1000 feet above sea level, affording
spectacular views over the surrounding moor land,
with sheep, cows and wild ponies with their young
grazing contentedly.
In an area of outstanding beauty not only is it rich
in archaeological remains and legends, it is wild,
open and unspoilt, with miles of moor land to
explore.

Pony trekking can be arranged at nearby stables, with
sailing and windsurfing at Siblyback Lake, even a round
of golf can be found locally.
Together with hunting, shooting and fishing come and
enjoy the experience and freedom of the wide open spaces
of Bodmin Moor!
From Minions anywhere in Cornwall is accessible. The
sandy beaches, picturesque villages of the North and
South coast are all within easy reach. English
Heritage's castles at Launceston, Lostwithiel and the
legendary King Arthur's castle at Tintagel are well
worth a visit. ocation
